Following
an incredibly successful UK tour which saw John Butler Trio sell out some of
the most prestigious venues in the country they are releasing their second
single, ‘Close To You’ taken from their latest album ‘April
Uprising.’ Butler
outlines the meaning behind their chosen single: “Close To You is about
a young man hitting the wall, realising that the life he's living is not the
one he wants. As much as he wants to break out, get away from everything, he
goes back to the one he loves.”
