Naïve and Carla Bruni’s agent Bertrand de Labbey would like to clarify a number of points relating to the release of Carla Bruni's third album. The album will be released in Europe in July and hit stores worldwide this summer. The new album will be called ‘Comme si de rien n’était’ ("As if nothing had happened") after a photograph by Carla’s brother, Virginio Bruni Tedeschi. The photograph is expected to feature on the album cover. Produced by Dominique Blanc-Francard, the album will include 14 tracks written and composed by Carla Bruni, with the exception of two songs written in collaboration with French novelist Michel Houellebecq and singer Julien Clerc respectively, and two cover versions. At Carla Bruni's request, royalties from the album will be donated to charitable and humanitarian causes. Naïve would also like to point out that Carla Bruni's second album, ‘No Promises’, which shot straight to No.1 in both the Billboard European Top 100 Albums Charts and the French charts, has sold 380,000 copies worldwide to date, including 110,000 copies in France.
