David Jones is the stunning debut single for London based trio Freewinder - Russell Chandler (instrumentation, arrangements), Clive Godwin (lyrics, arrangements) and Kara Grainger (vocals - whose own solo career has garnered Radio 2 support and who was a finalist in Billboard's 2005 international songwriting competition). Their first single, currently available for free download from www.freewinder.com, is ‘David Jones’, a song inspired by and written about the legendary David Bowie.
