Following
their sell-out show in March, Second Person return to Pizza on The Park,
Knightsbridge for an intimate performance of the trio’s post-trip-hop
sophisticated pop music. London
based Second Person blend their influences of hip hop, jazz and electronica
with strong songwriting to create a unique sound. Although often likened to
trip-hop giants such as Portishead, Massive Attack and Morcheeba,
singer/pianist Julia Johnson, producer/bassist Mark Maclaine and drummer
Alvaro Lopez can nevertheless claim their own distinctive sound, contrasting
beautiful vocals with dark basslines, sublime piano riffs and killer beats.
