Not many groups can boast a career like The
Zombies’. One of the most quietly inspirational bands of the last four
decades, they are cited as influences by Fleet Foxes, the Arctic Monkeys, Paul
Weller, Super Furry Animals, Billy Joel and Courtney Love amongst many, many
others. 'The
musicians who cite The Zombies as influential are legion.' MOJO, February 2008 Most recently they have enjoyed a deserved resurgence, selling out shows at London's Shepherds Bush Empire for three dates in March 2008, where four original members of the band played their landmark album, 'Odessey and Oracle' in its entirety for the first time in The Zombies’ history - the band split up before it was originally released in 1967.
